Stainless Steel Sink Backside Spray Painting Process
A Look Inside JSD’s Sink Backside Painting Process
For stainless steel sinks, the backside coating is an important part of the manufacturing process. At JSD, we spray-coat the backside of selected sinks to provide a clean and uniform finish.

1. Sink Preparation
Before spraying, the sink is carefully prepared and positioned in the spray area.
The backside surface is cleaned and prepared to ensure a suitable foundation for the coating.
2. Primer Application
A primer is applied to the backside of the sink before the final coating.
JSD uses white and black primer options, depending on the product and required finish.
The primer provides a suitable base for the subsequent coating process.

3. Backside Spray Painting
The prepared sink is then placed in the spray booth for the backside spray-painting process.
Our operators use professional spray equipment to apply the coating evenly across the backside of the sink, including the bottom, edges, corners, and other areas.
The spraying process is carefully controlled to achieve a smooth, even, and consistent coating.

4. Final Inspection
After spraying is completed, the backside of each sink is visually inspected.
We check the coating for even coverage, color consistency, surface uniformity, and visible defects before the sink moves to the next production stage.
Carefully Finished, Even on the Backside
Although the backside of a sink is not normally visible after installation, proper backside coating is still an important part of our manufacturing process.
At JSD, we pay attention to every stage of production to provide consistent and reliable stainless steel sinks for OEM and ODM customers.
